ESS Approach
ESS methodology is a highly effective, perspective approach that draws on our extensive experience in BSM implementation across diverse customers and geography. Our four-stage programme ensures optimal tool implementation with minimal inconvenience and maximum efficiency.

Successful project execution - be it IT related or otherwise - begins with planning. At ESS, we begin the implementation process by studying the client's requirements, gathering information about existing IT assets. The IT environment is studied and analysed for readiness and workshops conducted to bring key players up to speed with the product.

A detailed Project Plan is designed along with a Schedule/WBS which will list the phases, activities and tasks the ESS team will perform. This phase is complete when the engagement review and project kickoff meeting have been held and the Project plan and schedule have been approved by the client's Project Manager.

Once the assessment phase is complete, the team begins the process of designing the solution; the existing security and system architecture are accessed, gaps are identified

A System Architecture Document prepared to define architecture requirements and recommendations for the solution. A Solution Requirement Document and Solution Design Document are also provided. The Solution Design Document provides key details concerning the customer-specific installation and configurations of the solution. This includes:

  • Installation information
  • Application configuration information
  • Data configuration/migration information
  • Integration configuration information
  • Reporting information

The actual implementation gets underway during the Build stage: solution components are configured and installed, integration requirements are built, training material is compiled and UAT issues addressed.

A Solution Configuration Document is provided. The document summarizes customer specific configurations, integrations and components of solution. A Test Plan Report is also produced for approval by the client's project manager after due process.

The final stage of our methodology sees the solution's migration into production; knowledge transfer is completed and assistance deprecated to shadow support.

A project completion is compiled and once approval has been obtained by the Customer Project Manager, the project is deemed to be complete.

“ESS did an excellent job with the BMC Blade Logic Client Automation implementation. The team was always ready with updates when I needed them, stuck to the budget and the timeline, and was able to provide a great overview of the application to myself and my management. I appreciate all of the hard work and enthusiasm toward getting this done not only on time, but ahead of schedule.”

– Enterprise Operations Manager, cricketcommunications.com
